"MIAMI — The federal government is showering households with tax rebates to spur spending and invigorate a troubled economy. But many Americans are so consumed with debt and the soaring price of gasoline that they are opting to save the money or use it to pay bills, according to surveys, sales data and interviews with people from Florida to California.
Between late April and the end of last week, the Treasury handed out more than $50 billion of the $100 billion in tax rebates it plans to distribute to 132 million households. But only once in the last six weeks have chain stores registered an increase in sales, according to the International Council of Shopping Centers, whose weekly sales survey is a widely watched barometer."

Texas Court Rules Against State in LDS Raid
The Texas Appeals Court ruled against the state in the Raid of the Longing for Zion people. This is right and this raid was a gross miscarriage of justice. The top officials should go to jail for the Raid.
If there was abuse, and this has not been proven, only those who were guilty should be charged. The rest of those people need to be left alone. Thier kids need returned now!
You'd think after the murders of at Waco, they would be more careful in Texas.

I still have great concern about the Texas raid. Never before in the history of our country have so many children been taken from their mothers. This Nation has fallen away from its constitution.

Texas Raid on Polygamy
Are the Children being abused? If so the action was somewhat justified. If not this is the greatest advancement of the police state this year.
No doubt the communal lifestyle does not suit anyone who thinks the state needs to know everything about everything. Still we all want children to be protected, but not by an SS government.

We are in incredible times. The world is reeling under the weight of its disobedience. Hurricanes, Typhoons, Tsunamis, all are the result of man's sin.
Earthquakes warn of worse times to come.
Church men hold the key to deliverance. If the church would repent unto the kingdom, things would change. But instead of repentance we see the church racing after recognition from the world.
The latest disaster in Myanmar, could reach up to 100,000 dead, and still no one understands the connection to the church's disobedience. The church blames other religions as being the reason for these disasters. The church needs to repent to the kingdom. Until it does judgment cannot be stayed. Selah
